Your identity in Net Radio Rooms

These preferences apply when you join amateur-radio Nets and appear in their Radio Rooms, including the station list, Spotlight and Net maps. They do not change the station or operator recorded in your logbook.

A station image, callsign graphic or avatar is welcome. A personal photo is optional.

Use the pencil on the image to choose or replace it. JPEG, PNG or WebP · 8 MB maximum · 24 megapixels · no animation. Location metadata is removed. Images remain until replaced or removed.

Show your image beside your callsign and in Spotlight when you participate in Net Radio Rooms.

Share your approximate location on Net Radio Room maps using a four-character grid cell. This also controls grid visibility for NCS lookup and captured historical geography. Turning it off hides that geography in history and exports; live city, state and country may remain visible.

CALLSIGN LOOKUP

QRZ integration

Not configured

Your QRZ password is encrypted for your account and is never displayed again. A QRZ XML-data subscription is required for automatic contact lookup.

LOGGING IDENTITY

Station profiles

Station profiles identify the station you are using and the person operating it when logging a contact. For example, when operating a club station, use the club’s callsign as the station callsign and your personal callsign as the operator. You can keep separate profiles for home, portable and club operation; existing contacts retain the identity used when logged.

Select Edit to view or change an existing profile. Manage logbooks from Logbooks.

DESKTOP ACCESS

Desktop keys

Manage Desktop access to your account logbooks. New and replacement keys expire after six months; replace them and update Desktop before the displayed date. View or revoke your keys here. Older keys that cannot be revealed can be replaced.

Existing logbook sharing

Create and manage contacts in Logbooks. Shared books are visible to all current and future listeners.

Personal callsign history

Your account follows you across personal callsign changes. Historical activity keeps the callsign used at the time. Club/station callsigns belong in Station profiles. Dates are inclusive start and exclusive end; an end date of July 3 displays through July 2.
